Camenzind is an Architecture Magazine founded in 2005. In Camenzind, architecture and urbanism are discussed and written about not only by architects but also by musicians, artists, physicists, civil engineers, art historians, philosophers, economists or just ordinary inhabitants and users of architecture.

Camenzind positions itself between shiny interior magazines and professional architectural journals, combining the best of both sides. Because architecture concerns everyone, it should be discussed in a way comprehensible for everybody, but not in a superficial manner. Thus, Camenzind is serious, but it is also full of fun, irony, color, attack and passion!

“I believe that reflectivity is something not written in a beforehand theory chapter but something written in between, in the tone of writing.” (Karl Schlögel in interview with H. U. Obrist and R. Koolhaas, ARCH+ 186/187)

… and who is Camenzind? Try to find it out by yourself!

Maybe him?

Or is he the original guy?

Well, maybe you find some hints here!

Quite close already.

For he-men!
